Barrow, Grinah and Bleaklow Stones- David Solo A day for David to walk on his own. One of the guide books suggested a variant on a walk to the Barrow and Grinah stones so this seemed a good choice- I feel that I'd like to do more walks on Bleaklow. I parked up at King's Tree and walked up the spur at Cow Hy up to Ridge Nether Moor. Looking to the east, I could pick out the "Serpent" undergrowth clearing and the rocks at Back Tor (East). The Serpent Back Tor East After a snack on Round Hill (sheltering in the remains of the butt), it was up to the Barrow Stones. As we're usually on the downhill stretch when we're here, and on the southern side of the big rock formation, I had a new perspective on it.
