The Tre Cime Although this walk covered some of the same ground as yesterday, it felt very different. We again took the early shuttle bus to Rifugio Auronzo. This time, David kept an eye open for the view of the Tre Cime from the road up to Misurina, where he'd had his first glimpse some 38+ years ago. He was lucky: The Tre Cime from the Misurina road We walked up to Rifugio Lange Alm for a second time, reversing the last section of yesterday's walk. The pools at Zinnenseen were ripple-free and David was able to get another scenic picture of the Tre Cime. Tre Cime reflected in the Zinnenseen Pool Coffee and poppy seed cake were an ideal start to the day, as was meeting a young British woman who lived in Saltaire.
