Sas Ciampac Revisited- David Solo We were pretty worn out by now, but I had had a rest day earlier in the week so I had a little more energy to spare. My walk up to Sas Ciampac started from the Passo Gardena after a short bus ride from Corvara. The first section, passing Rifugio Jimmy, was reversing a section of AV2 that Paul and I had walked back in '22 . I was very lucky in that the weather was spectacularly beautiful and, although there were a few clumps of walkers, most of the time I had the path to myself and could admire the views.
