Bamford Edge and High Neb After a slow journey on the A6 and a pit stop in Hathersage, we did not actually start walking until midday. We parked at Hollin Bank, below Stanage Edge and set off in bright sunshine. This lovely bright weather persisted for the whole of the walk and so we enjoyed some excellent views throughout the day. This path continues to Bamford Edge with breathtaking views of Ladybower and the bridge at the end of the reservoir. There were a number of people on the Edge enjoying the photographic opportunities offered by the dramatic rock formations.
